The Community Department at the TUM Blockchain Club is dedicated to creating an engaging environment for all members passionate about blockchain technology and its potential. Our main objective is to build a strong, supportive network that not only connects members within the club but also extends to the broader blockchain community.Our department is structured around three core areas of responsibility: Community Network Management, Personal Development, and Process Management. Our tasks include distributing informative as well as fun newsletters, organizing meetups, and hosting internal club events to keep our members connected and informed. For Personal Development, we focus on maintaining an up-to-date members list, managing a helpbox for queries and support, and moderating and preparing for core team meetings and informational sessions. Process Management involves the creation and continual updating of club processes, such as recruiting, onboarding, and meeting procedures, maintaining the members list on platforms like Notion, and moderating our Discord channel to ensure a productive and welcoming environment.

The Finance & Legal Department at the TUM Blockchain Club ensures financial integrity and regulatory compliance, stabilizing our operations. We oversee financial management, including budgeting and accounting, and handle legal aspects such as contracts and taxation. Join us to learn about entity management in Germany and contribute to our professional environment.
‍Who we are looking for:
‍We seek individuals with strong organizational skills, a knack for numbers, and good communication abilities. Experience in bookkeeping is a plus but not required. Be proactive, reliable, and ready to take responsibility for maintaining order and structure within our team. Help us tackle financial and administrative challenges and support the long-term growth of the club.

Industry is a mission-driven department that organizes web3 projects for student teams in cooperation with partners from the industry.Responsibilities in the department include forming & maintaining partnerships with companies, creating multi-channel marketing campaigns, conducting interviews and selecting the best participants, organizing Industry-related events, and mentoring for ongoing projects.

The team is tasked with expanding and nurturing the organization's network through targeted outreach and partnership development. This multifaceted role includes engaging with university clubs, securing and maintaining partnerships, exploring new collaboration opportunities, and fundraising for conferences, with a special emphasis on sustaining a strong relationship with all the state-of-the-art web3 startups.

The department's vision is to work on internal web3 projects as on building MVPs and PoCs of web3 concepts. The goal of the team is to find and integrate web3 tech into the club's daily activities. Furthermore, the club's infrastructure and, of course, the website will be taken care of our magicians.

The Marketing team creates Marketing campaigns for events and takes care of branding and content creation, a.o. for social media. We also are responsible for creating merch and marketing materials. We are looking for creative students w.r.t. text writing, photography, videography, design, or who is good at advertising or public speaking.

The Education Team ensures everyone in the club as well as our events and our projects stay at the cutting edge of web3. To that end, we constantly review the latest research, prepare internal and external study programs, and organize educational events.
