What is BlockSprint?

  • Hosted by the TBC, the BlockSprint is a 12-week immersive program where students dive into blockchain and web3 projects, facing challenges from industry leaders
  • From April 19th to July 12th, participants, grouped in teams of 2-4 and guided by experts, will develop practical web3 solutions and concepts.
  • We're setting up a Milestone/Midterm Meeting to catch up on how all the teams are doing and then wrapping things up with a Final Event to showcase all the hard work and cool projects
  • Beyond Learning: you'll receive a working student's salary and the opportunity for a job offer based on your impressive performance

When can I apply for the projects?

  • The application phase will officially open on February 26th

Do I need to speak German?

No! German skills are not required for our projects. English is sufficient unless otherwise stated in the application form.

Do I need a German work permit?

Yes! For the project duration you’ll need a German work permit!

Who can participate and what skills are required?

We welcome applications from students of any study background, but your qualifications should match those listed in the project descriptions. We highly appreciate candidates with past hands-on experience, such as internships, part-time jobs, university projects, and thesis work. Alongside that, we value individuals who are motivated and have strong communication skills in all our projects!

Is there a chance to get a job with partner companies after the projects are done?

YES! Companies from the industry are especially interested in working with TUM Blockchain Club because they intend to reach and potentially hire talents in the tech field.

Which companies are participating in the BlockSprint?

Our industry partners range from startups to established ones, all actively involved in blockchain technology and web3 projects. What about financial compensation?

Students selected for the projects will receive working student contracts at the respective partner companies with highly competitive salaries!

Is there a commitment requirement?

Yes, projects typically span 12 weeks, and students are expected to commit around 15 hours per week. This involves working closely with a team and the industry partner to achieve project goals.

How Are Projects Assigned?

During the application, you can indicate your project preferences. Projects are then assigned based on a match between your skills, interests, and the specific needs of our industry partners, ensuring a beneficial experience for both students and companies.
